When I was a child, I was always fascinated by all kinds of technical devices – especially cameras.

It all started when I was about six years old and began taking pictures of literally everything I could see with my grandpa’s old Konica Minolta. It didn’t matter how odd the subject was – if it caught my eye, I took a photo of it. I wasn’t allowed to use the camera very often, though, because my grandpa was afraid I might drop and break it.

For my eighth birthday, I got my very first camera – a Fujifilm FinePix. Nothing fancy, but for mini-me, it was really special!

As I grew older, my eye for scenes and compositions improved, and I began to develop a personal sense of aesthetics in my photos. I never gave up this wonderful hobby, kept learning more and more over the years, and carried my ever-changing lineup of cameras with me wherever I went – and now, here we are!

A few months ago, I also started to record 4–5 second video clips of various things in my surroundings instead of taking snapshots.
I edited these short clips and compiled them into Instagram Reels. Some of those videos are still available on my profile.

Since then, I’ve delved deeper into the subject and now create handheld as well as mechanically stabilized cinematic footage, primarily in the automotive sector.
